Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Limited Liability Company (“Yihua Limited” or “the Company”) and Sinopec Assets Management Co, Ltd, Yizheng Branch (“Yizheng Branch”), jointly called YCFC, are located in Yizheng city, Jiangsu province, with an area of approx. 10 square kilometers. YCFC, formerly known as Yizheng Joint Corporation of Chemical Fibre Industry, was the key project during the State “Sixth Five Year Plan” to “Tenth Five Year Plan” period. In 1998, YCFC joined China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.

Yihua Limited is principally engaged in the production and sales of polyester and polyester fibre. At present, the Company has 2 sets of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) production facilities with an annual capacity of 1,000,000 tonnes, 16 polyester production lines with an annual polymerization capacity of 2,200,000 tonnes, 34 polyester staple fibre and hollow fibre production lines with an annual capacity of 800,000 tonnes, 5 bottle grade polyester chip production lines with an annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes, 2 sets of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fibre drying spinning facilities with an annual capacity of 1,300 tonnes, 1 set of para-aramid trial facility with an annual capacity of 100 tonnes, 1 set of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) facility with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes and ancillary utility facilities of water, electricity, compressed air and steam, and etc.

Yizheng Branch has 3 production centers (herein 2 joint venture companies) and Community Administration Center. The PBT Production Center has 2 sets of PBT production facilities with an annual capacity of 91,000 tonnes. The two joint ventures, Yihua Toray Polyester Film Co., Ltd and Yihua Bonar Yarns and Fabrics Co., Ltd, are jointly established with Toray Industries, Inc. and Low & Bonar PLC, respectively, and produce Polyethylene Terephthalate films (PET) and polypropylene fabrics (PP).
